Bhagat Singh, Bapu and Nehru to Obavva and Bharata maate, today marked one of the most memorable days for kids at these schools (Kannasandra, Suvarnahalli, Vengasandra, Kalavihosahalli, Gopenahalli, Nernahalli).
Independence day is celebrated with lots of colour and vigour in the schools.
Thousands laid down their lives so that our children can live in a country free of hunger and fear, free of illiteracy and want.
What better way to remember their sacrifice than to imbibe their vice and virtues in these young hearts, forever.
Independence day is an opportunity for these kids to portray their talent while dressing up as their favourite freedom fighter and going around the village in a procession.
Many activities like fancy-dress, rangoli competition, processions etc outline the celebrations.
Various competitions like fancy-dress, Rangoli etc provide the necessary stage for confidence and talent building.
Vidhyadaanam is proud to support this year’s fancy-dress competitions and their awards in 6 designated schools.
The teachers have put in lots of time and effort in this wonderful celebration.
We hope to continue our support for such events and hope to represent and witness with them, in future.
